A fabulous, innovative idea that simply clips school hat to bag, with your choice of interchangeable HatHERO™ character.

In 2014 The HatHERO™ clip was an idea created by two frustrated parents, tired of school hats returning damaged by either being squashed into school bags or trampled upon at school or simply not returning home at all!

Take the design ideas from Hathero and design a clip to attach a hat to a schoolbag to avoid lost or damaged hats. Provide design that would appeal to school aged children.

Design Approach

Long nosed clip to hold wide brim hat without damaging the material.  Various different plastics were investigated to provide the desired texture and functionality.  Interchangeable cartoon character emblems were introduced as a main feature to make it interesting for children.

Outcomes

Prototypes were created and tested to settle on a final design and then went to production.
